Orders & Payment

How do I place an order?
Browse our collection, add your favourite pieces to cart, and check out. You can pay using credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, wallets, or Cash on Delivery (where available).

Can I modify my order after placing it?
Reach out to us within 30 minutes of placing your order on WhatsApp +91-8168130301. Once an order is processed for shipment, modifications cannot be made — but you can exchange it after delivery.

Do you offer Cash on Delivery (COD)?
Yes, COD is available for most PIN codes across India. The COD option will appear at checkout if your address is eligible.

Do you accept international cards?
Yes, we accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express from international banks. All payments are charged in Indian Rupees (₹).

Is there a discount for first-time buyers?
Yes! Use code WELCOME10 at checkout for 10% off your first order above ₹999. The code will appear in our welcome popup when you visit the site.

Will I get a GST invoice?
Yes. A tax invoice with our GSTIN, HSN codes, and applicable GST breakdown will be sent to your registered email address upon dispatch of your order.

Shipping & Delivery

How much is shipping?

  • Free on all orders above ₹1,499
  • ₹99 flat shipping fee on orders below ₹1,499

When will my order arrive?

  • Metro cities: 3–5 business days
  • Tier 2/3 cities: 5–7 business days
  • Remote areas (J&K, North-East, etc.): 7–10 business days

How do I track my order?
You'll receive a tracking link via SMS, email, and WhatsApp once your order ships. You can also reach our customer care team with your order number for tracking assistance.

Do you ship internationally?
Not yet. We currently ship within India only. International shipping will launch in the future — sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know.

What if my package is delayed?
Most delays are caused by courier issues or remote location constraints. Reach out to us on WhatsApp with your order number and we'll investigate immediately.

Sizing & Fit

How do I find my size?
Each product page has a detailed Size Guide. Measure yourself using a soft measuring tape (across bust, waist, and hip) and compare to the chart for the best fit.

What if my size doesn't fit?
Use our Exchange option — it's the easiest and most affordable way:

  • Request exchange within 3 days of delivery
  • Pay only ₹99 reverse pickup fee (much less than return)
  • Get the right size delivered to you

If you don't want to exchange, you can return for a refund (₹199 reverse pickup fee applies). See our Returns Policy for full details.

Do you offer plus sizes?
Most pieces are available from XS to XXL. Some styles go up to 3XL — check individual product pages for exact size availability.

Are your fits true to size?
Yes — we follow standard Indian sizing. If you're between sizes, we recommend going one size up for a more relaxed, comfortable fit.

Fabric & Care

What fabrics do you use?
Most of our pieces are made from breathable cotton. Some pieces use cotton blends, rayon, or denim for added comfort, drape, or structure. Each product page lists the exact fabric.

Where are your products made?
All Alaya Select products are Made in India.

How do I care for my Alaya Select pieces?

  • Hand wash or gentle machine wash in cold water
  • Wash separately for the first 2–3 washes (especially darker shades)
  • Dry in shade to retain colour
  • Iron on medium heat
  • Do not bleach
  • Avoid harsh detergents

Detailed care instructions are also included on each product tag.

Will the colours fade?
We use quality dyes, but to maintain vibrancy:

  • Wash in cold water
  • Avoid direct sunlight while drying
  • Wash inside out for the first few washes

Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

What's your return/exchange policy?

  • You have 3 days from delivery to request a return or exchange
  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, with original tags and packaging
  • We strongly recommend exchanges over returns (lower fee + faster)

How do I exchange a product?
Message us on WhatsApp +91-8168130301 within 3 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • The item you want to exchange
  • The new item or size you want

We'll confirm availability and arrange a pickup within 24–48 hours. Once we receive the original item, we'll dispatch the new one within 2 business days.

What's the difference between return and exchange?

  • Exchange: ₹99 fee, get a different item or size, 3–5 business days for replacement
  • Return: ₹199 fee, get refund/store credit, 5–7 days for refund

Can I exchange for a different (more expensive) product?
Yes! You can exchange to any item — pay only the price difference. If the new item is cheaper, the difference is given as store credit (never expires).

Can I exchange the same item twice?
No, only one exchange per order is allowed. After the first exchange, that item cannot be returned or exchanged again.

How will I get my refund?

  • Prepaid orders (Card / UPI / Net Banking / Wallet) — Refunded to your original payment method in 5–7 business days
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) orders — Issued as store credit that never expires (use it on any future order)

Why store credit for COD orders?
COD has higher transaction costs for us. Issuing store credit lets us keep COD as an option without raising prices. Your store credit:

  • Never expires
  • Can be combined with sale prices and discount codes
  • Is sent via WhatsApp and email immediately after refund approval

What if I receive a damaged or wrong product?
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We'll arrange a completely free pickup and offer:

  • A free replacement, OR
  • Full refund to original payment method (yes, even for COD), OR
  • Store credit + 10% bonus (e.g., ₹1,650 → ₹1,815 store credit)

No charges, no questions asked.

Can I cancel my order?
Yes, free cancellation before shipment. Message us immediately on WhatsApp.

What if I miss the 3-day window?
After 3 days from delivery, we cannot accept any returns or exchanges. Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

Alaya Select is everyday Indian wear for the woman who lives in it — kurta sets, co-ords, tops, and dresses designed for daily comfort, not just occasions. Soft fabrics, fits that work, prices that don't ask too much.

Alaya Select is a brand owned and operated by Cosmo Brands Private Limited, registered in Gurugram, Haryana, India.

Are you a sustainable brand?
We're working on it. Our pieces are made in small batches to avoid overproduction, we use natural fabrics where possible, and we're focused on building a slow, intentional brand. We're not perfect yet — but we're transparent about the journey.

Account & Privacy

Do I need to create an account to shop?
No, you can check out as a guest. However, creating an account helps you track orders, save addresses, and manage exchanges easily.

How is my personal data used?
We use your information only to process orders, communicate with you, and improve your experience. We do not sell your data to third parties. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.

How do I unsubscribe from emails?
Click "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of any marketing email, or message us on WhatsApp.

What if I have an unresolved complaint?
